The Amtrak Station was built in 1877 and now serves as a train station, Chico Art Center and Empire Coffee (located in an adjoining rail car). The Coast Starlight train passes through Chico on its route between Seattle and Los Angeles. Both trains arrive in the middle of the night, with the southbound arriving just before 4:00am and the northbound just before 2:00am.
My name is Abram House and as you can see, I love taking pictures of the outdoors and nature. My love for photography started in 2004 during a trip to the Czech Republic to visit my older brother. Nice image! I'm surprised to see the lights on in the Parlour Car that late at night. All of the times I've ridden that train they turned out most of the Parlour Car lights after the bar closed.
